Chinatown perfume by Bond No. 9 for men and women (unisex) [14721]

by Bonnie Rosenblatt Date Added: Saturday 23 January, 2010 I was a hesitant to try these fragrances due to the cost, but I fell in love with "chinatown", I tried it at a large store & let it settle all day. One thing about these fragrances is that they don't change as many do after a period with your body chemistry & they last all day, even then your clothes still have that wonderful smell. As far as describing the fragrance; that's difficult, these don't fit into the typical classifications. This one is very feminine, a little sweet, a little floral, & a little citrus but the notes have sandelwood & I believe a touch of tobacco? Which I would never have guessed. It's a complicated blend, but beautiful. I tend to go for the softer, feminine somwhat sweet blends (but not too sweet), I do like the fresh, clean blends in the summer, but never go for the spicy/oriental blends; if that helps. This smells like a VERY EXPENSIVE FRENCH fragrance, but is soft at the same time. I absolutely love it!!! I even went to Saks $ bought the body cream ($115)can't believe I did that! But buying the fragrance on line will save you at least $50.00 over retail. I can't wait until someone on line offers the body creams to go w/ fragrances, I already have my eye on "Madison Soiree" & "Scent of Peace".
